We are happy to present the first elite stallion to take part in Virginia’s hot new sire program. You can foal anywhere and be eligible for both the breeders stakes and the sires stakes.
If you breed to Doctor Butch, a Virginia stallion you are automatically eligible for both the breeders stakes(80k est) and the sire stakes(est 80k). you can foal the horse anywhere in the world. we ship semen worldwide!
Last year there were only 10 mares and 13 colts YOs competing for a grand total of $160,000 (sires stakes + breeders stakes).
- $1500 Breeder awards for mare owners who's foal goes 2:11 in a qualifier.
- $1500 Bonus if you keep the mare and foal in VA for one year after conception.
- $400k GUARANTEED earnings match bonus!
Just keep your foal in VA for any 6 months from birth -2 YO and you will have your earnings matched for ANY starts anywhere in the country in their 2 & 3 YO career.
This Year’s match bonus was 70% so if you race in NY, Ohio, etc and make $20k for the year , you will receive an additional check for $14K from Virgina harness association.
